Star Ornament

Wow, this was a really fun project to put together! This is my creation for the new challenge over at Decorate to Celebrate!

One of my friends gave me the gold glittery stars, so I made a rosette from this file at My Scrap Chick, edged it with some gold glitter and attached it to the front of the star, then punched out a simple star from glitter paper for the front! So easy and quick, and adorable on the tree. I hope you'll create something for this challenge and join us! Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas in July!

Here is a new project for The Cutting Cafe! It's Christmas in July and today I made a Sleigh Treat Box! Here is the video showing how I put this together.
I'm still new to video designing, so I'm trying to learn from my mistakes and make them better each time. I realized that there really isn't a good view of the treat box from this view point. Hmmm. So to make sure you get a good idea of how cute this is, here's a photo!

By The Sea

Hi! Today is the new challenge over at Decorate to Celebrate! I have made the 3D Round Box with Divider and Lid from Digi Playground. This looks fantastic with the Graphic 45 paper By the Sea, and I'm using it to store my grandkids' seashells.

 They look great close up!

Design Team Planner

Hi everybody! Today I'm SO excited to bring you a project from the newest team that I'm on... The Cutting Cafe! This is a fabulous design team planner to keep track of design team assignments, deadlines and ideas, but that's not all! It also has pages for Challenge sites and projects, too!
The files for the pages come in JPG or PDF format. I just used the JPGs to make my book 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 instead of the 8 1/2 x 11 format because I like the smaller size. I used my Monkey paper and adhered it to some lightweight cardboard for the front and back covers, then I used my Cinch binding machine to put it all together. I hope you've enjoyed this! Thanks for stopping by!

Lady Gift Bag

Today is the new challenge over at Decorate to Celebrate. I have created a gift bag from a retired file called "Day at the Races". Sorry, I didn't know it was retired until I started to create this post. There are some usable ideas to take away from this item, though! I used a teal ink pad to brush the edges of the flower, then spritzed with water and used my embossing tool to curl the edges up before I put this pretty peony flower together.
I finished off the silhouette with some bling around the lady's neck.

The ribbon was covered with my new Wink of Stella which created a LOVELY glimmer look. And the bit of bling on the inside of the peony added another shiny touch.
This was really fun and quick. Create your own project and join our challenge!
Thanks for looking!

Treble Flourish

Hi! Greetings from the f-f-f-rozen Midwest! Yep, it's about 5 below zero. It's time to keep warm in my craft room next to my Zing! This is a beautiful new design called Treble Fourish by SnapDragon Snippets. I cut the design out of black paper, then created a shadow layer, added a rectangle to the top and welded it, creating a nice topper for the card front. I cut it out of pretty patterned paper from The Paper Studio, then created another shadow layer for the bright pink. The patterned paper on the bottom is another sheet from the same paper pack, called Studio. I just added a nice simple knot and some brads to complete the card front. Thanks for stopping by today!
